Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam — a duty that connects your wealth with the needs of others.

Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:
“Take, [O Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah’s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”
(Surah At-Tawbah 9:103)
Today, many Muslims choose to donate Zakat through trusted charities, helping provide food, clean water, medical care, support for orphans, assistance for widows, and relief for vulnerable families.
Zakat is more than a financial obligation. It is a reminder of compassion, responsibility, and the importance of caring for those in need.
