Can I Give Sadaqah Jariyah for Someone Else?
Yes. You can give charity on behalf of another person, including someone who has passed away.
Sa’d ibn Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) whether he could give charity on behalf of his deceased mother. The Prophet replied:
“Yes.”
